Prophesy And Proclaim

I must prophesy and proclaim what I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying. February will be the month of truth. I hear the resounding of the Battle Hymn of the Republic, “His truth is marching on!” The first version of the Battle Hymn of the Republic penned in February of 1862, was written by Julia Ward Howe. The month of February will be a time that we must stand on and connect with the truth. We cannot turn the truth into our bed of comfort. Truth is not always comfortable and cannot be changed to fit our personal idea of right. RIght is not up to our discretion; we must live the Word of God. We must seek the truth and be willing to make it our firm foundation.
God is going to highlight the truth of His Word to you so that you can apply it to situations you have been toiling over. Once the Holy Spirit reveals the truth, you must activate it in your case through your spoken word. February is the month to make sure your words line up with the Word of the Lord. Speak what God says about you and your situation.
In this time of transition, God is also going to speak the truth of who you are to you. You have not fully realized your purpose and call. There is more! February is the month that it will become evident. Your eyes will be enlightened. You will no longer be able to believe the lies of the enemy about any part of your identity. Ephesians 4:7 says, in the ERV, “Christ gave each one of us a special gift. Everyone received what he wanted to give them.:” God is going to release the grace for you to walk in your true identity! You will be free to be you! You will understand the truth of your gift and the purpose of your call. It is not up for debate by your doubt or your doubters.
February is the month that the eyes of your understanding are enlightened. As Paul prayed for the Ephesians in the Bible, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. (Ephesians 1:18-NIV)
As the revelation happens, embrace it. Ask the Holy Spirit questions about it and determine to walk in it.
Remember, the scripture says, in the book of John that Jesus told the Jews who believed Him, “If you hold you to my teachings then you shall be my disciple. Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free!”
Ask God to speak His truth, seek His truth in the Word and walk in the freedom He has prepared for you in February and the months ahead!
