Anchors Aweigh!

I must prophesy and proclaim what I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying.

I hear the phrase, “Anchors Aweigh!” This expression means the anchor is clear of the sea bottom. The ship is officially underway and has moved from the shore.

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, “It is time to pull up the anchors that are keeping you stranded on the shores of purpose! You must release your grip on everything that causes your fear of moving forward.”

Trust God to move you beyond any procrastination that is causing stagnation. To further progress you must believe in yourself. Low self- confidence is a characteristic that is innately foreign to the child of God.

Many are in a time of transition which gives the appearance of nothingness, but at the same time, feels as though everything is coming together. God is the author of this dichotomous situation. Your days may seem mundane, at times, but even in the routine, God is refining you.

Your gifts and talents are beginning to flow through you in a new way; your thought patterns are coming together.

I hear Him say, “Do not overlook your natural abilities and aptitudes. What you do with ease is someone else’s struggle. Embrace what I have placed on the inside of you.”

You are God’s beloved child, and to Him, you are a big deal. He has dealt you the best hand, and you are called to make an impact in your uniqueness.

In Matthew 14:29, Peter saw Jesus was walking on the water. He desired to do the same. Jesus told Peter to get out of the boat and come to Him. Peter felt that he could tread the waters in an unconventional way, just like Jesus. His curiosity moved him to action. He stepped out of the boat. He walked on the water.

Peter never attempted to walk on water before, so when he took notice of the winds and waves he began to sink. He was not experienced enough to look at the opposing forces, directly. Thankfully, Jesus was there to pull him up.

God is calling you to trust Him to do what you have never done. When you move into this new realm of faith, do not let the obstacles you encounter deter you. Make sure the Lord is at the forefront of your vision. Ask Him for guidance with each determined step of the process. God will be there to pull you up if you invite Him into your plans.

You can do everything you are called to do with God on your side. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

When you go into unexplored territory, remember to declare, ” The Lord guides my steps. Anchors Aweigh!”

Amen.

Matthew 14:29-30 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is thou, bid me come unto thee upon the waters. And he said, Come. And Peter went down from the boat and walked upon the waters to come to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me.
